Hello Church, in John 16:33 Jesus spoke to those who followed him, "In the world you will have tribulation, but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world." When you look around there are a lot of things going in the world and even in our nation. It seems as if we're living in the days of the Judges when the Word of the Lord says, "Everyone is doing right in their own eyes." There are those who have thrown out the standard of the Word of God and have accepted a humanistic gospel that says that we have evolved, we have become educated and have no need for God.
But Jesus was saying that "I have taken the full impact of everything this world can bring to destroy the stability and hope of the righteous, and have triumphed over it. I have risen, I will come for you and the victory I have won will become yours."
Church, by faith we can have an overcoming life and honest walk with God. We can rest assure in spite of what lies ahead of us, we can "be of good cheer." Let this truth find deep roots in your heart. The truth will set you free from the power of all fear.
