Hello Church,
Are you part of an "EZRA GENERATION?" God chose Ezra to be an instrument of good to the nation of Israel - that he might bring honor back in the priesthood. Ezra was a man of great learning - he knew the writings of the law of Moses - not only knew the words, BUT he knew the meaning of them.
Who was Ezra? Ezra was of the main leaders that left Babylon, along with Nehemiah, to rebuild Jerusalem, which at this time was in ruins. Ezra responsibility and his purpose was to bring a spiritual revival to God's people by restoring a reverent fear of the Word of God and a heartfelt worship for the One true and living God.
What Ezra Did - Ezra taught the people of God the Word of God. Ezra prepared his heart to seek the law of the Lord - not only to seek it,BUT to do it. and then teach it to all Israel (Ezra 7:6). Let's ask a question - how do you know when someone really hears the Word of God?1. They hear it. 2. They retain it. 3. They act on it. Notice how it says that Ezra prepared his heart to seek the Lord. You can say that Ezra was someone who just didn't want to get up and say anything, BUT he wanted to say what was the heart of God.
The Ezra Generation will be a generation of men and women who would call a people and a nation back to repentance and to establish a covenant with God.
Than God there are multitudes of people (young & old) that are waking up, rising up and realizing that the way things have been going doesn't make sense and they're saying "NO MORE." This generation realizes that we, the CHURCH, the true CHURCH, can be restored.
II Chron. 7:14 "If My people who are called by My name shall humble themselves, pray, seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, I WILL HEAL THEIR LAND."
